WHY I REPRESENT MYSELF AS THIS ANIMATED GIRL?
That's what I want to be in my dream world. Cute, happy and full of imaginations. And I love rabbits. :-)
Current Location: I actually reside in the United States with my husband. I work full time at a mid-size company.
Zodiac: Aries
Nationality: Chinese

Favorite Food: I love food. The only thing that I don't like so far is raw seafood. To name a few things that are on the top of my daily lovers... Cherry, Strawberry, and M&M Peanut.
Character: I would like to think I'm a rather boring person. I don't have many hobbies besides my recent adventure, writing fanfics, of course. :-)

Favorite Sport: Yoga. I do exercise when I have time or after watching some TV show where I saw a lot of slender and sexy girls showing off their curves. :-) Mostly, I just do Yoga and Pilates. I tried the Spin class last week, which almost gave me a heart attack. I'm not giving up though. I think I'm going to tried it again, just with caution. :-p

What I love to do:I love traveling to different places with my hubby. Usually, our main goal of the trip is to find one or two new places to eat. Haha! Now, you can tell how much I love food.
 Shoes... Shoes... and More shoes...
My Advice: My secret to stay happy and healthy? Never stop rejuvenating your body and soul with youth. Never say, Oh! I'm too old for that! I am a firm believer that I will only be old when I think I'm old.
What I had learned?

I've learned so much from this experience, from you, my fellow authors and supporters. I never knew I could make so many friends without even knowing their names or their faces. You gave me a completely unimaginable new world and new life. So, here's to you, my dear friends. Never stop dreaming. Never stop trying. Christina Rain @ JnB Shrine 2007 JnB author
MORE ON CR (jnb shrine express porfolio)
MY NAME: Christina Rain
childhood ambition: To become a doctor so that I could give my childhood hero a new leg.
fondest memory: learning to swim for the first time
soundtrack: too many to name but here are a few of my favorite singers: Sting, Jon Bon Jovi, Jackie Zhang
why JnB? They made my heart ache the way when I had a broken heart for the first time. They made me cry the tears that I never shed when I gave up on my first love. They made me smile with the sweetness and contentment that I can only feel when I'm with my husband.
wildest dream: Hum... This is tough one. As I said before, I'm a rather boring person. I once wished to be the head of the education department of China so that none of the students would be buried in homework. I bet most of you would love me for that, wouldn't you. :-)
proudest moment: Married my husband without telling my parents. Well, it's my biggest regret that I didn't have their blessing at our little courthouse ceremony. I guess I will have to live with that for the rest of my life.
biggest challenge: Making my family to see what I see in my husband. They accepted him because they love me. However, deep down, I still think they wish I had married someone one "better".
alarm clock: 6:45 AM
perfect day: First day on my first full-time job. I was finally, completely and officially independent.
first job: Custodian. Yes, I cleaned toilets. It was when I just got to the States. As an international student, I could only look for work on campus. And that was the only job available at the time. You probably won't believe me when I tell you that there wouldn't be Christina Rain if it weren't for that job. I learned to "speak" in English when I worked with the full-time custodians. I was like a chatterbox that just wouldn't shut up!
indulgence: Everything. I feel content in very little things but I'm never satisfied.
last purchase: Clothes for a new born baby girl. No, she's not mine. :-)
favorite movie: Lord of the Rings
inspiration: People around me.
My life is too short for me to linger in disappointments and frustrations.
My message: Never stop dreaming. Never stop trying. |
cutie wanna say: isnt it a wonder? that we (jnb sis) have so many things in common and now we have almost same "learnings" in life...
